This is the Coffee House Wall for this week. I won’t say that it is your chance to communicate with us, as we are all in this together. It is, nevertheless, the Conservative Blog post that has no particular theme, and where everything is on topic. Let’s just remember that we want to avoid ad hominem attacks on others. We don’t want to engage with trolls. We want to moderate our language ourselves as responsible and mature adults, choosing to use fruity language only where it is necessary. This is our opportunity to show what the Spectator Coffee House Wall could have been like.

Geert Wilders has drawn closer to UKIP’s position on the European Union in this speech in Los Angeles yesterday. UKIP’s natural reciprocation would be to mirror the concerns of Holland’s fourth largest party, the Party of Freedom,at the threat to national culture and identity from islam. The difficulty is that if UKIP states these concerns openly, Nigel Farage and other UKIP members stand likely to become targets not merely of the abuse and disruption of the cross-party street louts of the UAF, who already have them in their sights, but of islamicist assassins when they canvas from door to door or mount the hustings in our towns and cities. This latter threat is not one to be taken on lightly. Discretion is the better part of valour and UKIP’s purpose of forming a government can perhaps be met by a tactical avoidance of the the islamicist question and its subsuming within the larger question of unconsented immigration. Contrariwise, it could be argued that from this nettle, danger, we pluck this flower, safety – and the question should be raised and addressed forthrightly in ordedr to solve it. I do think though that UKIP and its supporters should extend their hands to Geert Wilders and his Party for Freedom. The Dutch have been our friends in difficult times in recent centuries and it would be an honour to join with the best of them in the current fight.

I think you are right. An addition parties from abroad are seen to be full of loonies by the electorate so perhaps better to stay aloof. Avoid anything likely to lose votes.
A lot of good Englishmen died not so long ago resisting arbitrary government in our American colonies. Does anyone think that had the majority population there from the 1770s to, say, -1813 been Russians rather than Britons there would have been a free state in North America in the 19th century? Give me a break! So I’m getting pretty well pissed off with contemporary Americans who, with some fine exceptions, are the most pernicious race of odious littler sheep that Nature ever suffered to graze in blank imbecility on the surface of their polity as the wolves take over. We bank on Americans remaining alert to threats to liberty to protect us as we abandon our own responsibilities to defend the country and allow it to fall into the hands of the unaccountable and unspeakable in Brussels and Westminster. Now though every day gives further evidence of the supine, paralysed Americans who, without a shot heard round the world, are tossing their constitution into the dustbin of history.
It’s enough to make you cry tears of blood.
It is reported that the Turkish leader of the opposition says that Erdogan is “throwing society into the fire”.
The acccusation against Erdogan fits Cameron, Clegg and Milliband remarkably well too.

The events in Turkey must surely kill off the chances of Turkey joining the EU….
I wouldn’t think so. Our leaders are committed to Turkey joining and our views are irrelevant on this matter as so many others.

“Did the Obama administration put a target on the backs of members of Navy SEAL Team 6? This is the question that parents of slain SEALs are now asking — and rightly so. At last!
The proper action might be taken and I’m delighted to see that nurses and Doctors are in the front line for prosecution, not Managers.
At the end of the day, Doctors and Nurses are responsible. Nurses in particular have agitated for years for a bigger role and more responsibility, to the point that too many of them see themselves as some kind of junior grade medico, far too important to take the time to look after some poor, smelly, troublesome OAP, make sure they’re clean and comfortable and fed and watered in the last few weeks. With responsibility, comes liability and that unforeseen and unexpected bird is, hopefully, about to come home to roost.
For too long, these front line medical staff have complained about lack of resources for patients, whilst taking ever-larger salaries for less effort. They whined loudly (usually after the event) that failings were the fault of managers and politicians not providing the necessary “assets”. If they couldn’t do the job, either through ineptitude or lack of “assets”, they should have resigned and highlighted the failings of the system.
But no, they’ve taken the money and either turned the other way or become part of the problem.
Perhaps when a few have been locked away, the others might reconsider their position, whether they are suited to the job or whether they should seek urgent talks with their employers. Oh, but wait, wouldn’t that be the people they are supposed to treat and look after?
Is there some ban on reporting the conviction of the Muslim gang who were going to bomb the EDL march in today’s news.

Yes, I agree, but I have a good deal of concern as to how OB and the Dems will use the info they illegally garnered from the PRISM program.
In another Breitbart article today, it stated that the VA Gov’s race is now neck and neck. Terry McAuliffe (D) was supposedly behind by 10 points to the Rep candidate just a few weeks ago. Now, he’s neck and neck?
Something’s rotten, IMO, so will we be able to overcome the voting fraud and how when the D’s do everything in their power to keep dishonesty alive and well?

The very best thing we can all do right now is “inform” the masses. I do at gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, the golf course. The Liberals only represent 18 to 21% of the populace, but they control the media which is why it is now up to us to inform everyone of the truth. Not yelling matches, but honest truth.
They do have voter fraud, but if we could actually get a turnout to the polls, they could not overcome that. Politics should be a discussion with your neighbors, your friends, your friends friends.
I know it seems like we are up against a wall and all is crumbling around us, but that is not true. Progressives are an arrogant lot, and this batch is no different. With nearly daily scandals and criminal evidence being exposed, the supporters of Obama only need the truth to be turned.
Speak out, without fear and with conviction. Our country is counting on us all right now.

It’s sad you know. I talk to my family and they just don’t understand it and don’t want to get involved in it. It’s so ignorant that people can just sit idly by and allow others to shape their world for them. The Democrats are counting on it.
BabelProphet Konservative_Punk • an hour ago
KP, I’ve encountered family and neighbors who just don’t want to talk about it but the best way to approach another is to talk about yourself. Be honest, tell another how you have evolved and what were the key points of your evolution. Let them know what you were feeling and how it changed your thinking.
The worst way is to attack them or criticize them. You want to unite them. ALWAYS LOOK FOR COMMONALITY AND BUILD ON THAT POINT.

You’re right. I’ve read old text of how our ancestors spent their time in discussion with their neighbors over politics and the Constitution. We as a nation have allowed ourselves to become ignorant of our founding documents and our leadership has taken advantage of our ignorance.
We are all neighbors and we should not be divided. Let’s show our neighbors our love and help them understand the importance of standing together united against elites who believe the loss of rights is an acceptable rationale.

Here’s another reason not to get discouraged: The onset of Obamacare will, in my opinion, be the biggest legislative train wreck since Prohibition.
And now the public is already taking notice of the agency charged with enforcing it. Does anybody seriously believe that average American voters are now going to be comfortable with letting the IRS overseeing their life-and-death health decisions?
My point is that if anything has the power to unite the populace, it’s the current scandals PLUS Obamacare. And that might be enough to create a GOP majority in both houses of Congress after 2014.

The Romney teams cyber communications completely broke down on that day and now it looks like that may not have been just an innocent system failure.

Yes you are right to say doctors and nurses should be prosecuted for the failings at Stafford (and elsewhere I suspect)
But i dont agree the management and politicians are not culpable. The job of management is to put in place proper procedures and checks to ensure the core purpose of a unit is being delivered. clearly at Stafford they failed miserably. And the failings are in the local management, in central NHS management in the department for health and the ministers.

I’ve not heard much of BBC R5Live today so couldn’t say (it’s my background wallpaper of choice as I despise R4 and the Today programme).
What is interesting though was yesterday’s news management on R5 in the morning. They had the problem of reporting and ‘discussing’ the parliamentary report on the Rochdale grooming cases and the conspiracy to attempt murder at the EDL rally.
Both issues were reported but the word!$lam was embargoed. No context was given, no background, and absolutely no suggestion of a religious and cultural link to these separate cases. Although they had Rochdale’s facilitators present and unaccountable (an ‘interim’ gauleiter for social services and the council head) there was absolutely no mention, much less acknowledgement, of the now well known British petri-dish of (largely) Pakistani mu$l!m gangs working under the umbrella of a hard left ideology and facilitated by social workers with dishonourable mentions to councils and the ‘police’.
This show is normally a ‘phone in’ but not this time (wonder why?)
On the EDL case they had someone from some publicly funded unit ‘working’ ‘against’ ‘radicalisation’ – again with nary a mention of !$lam.
Taken together it was an utterly surreal experience ignoring herds of elephants charging round a room. An alien listening to R5 yesterday would have absolutely no idea what had happened or was going on and what caused these events. The BBC know this but also know that with a UAF supporting Prime Minister they can get on with their public order task of managing the indigenes while stoking the grievances of minorities.
Later in the day they allowed the use of the phrase ‘!$lamic extremist’ once when reporting the EDL case as it was then safe to do when when not in a discussion context – no risk of any unfortunate ‘off message’ commentary being aired.

Indeed – but Doctors and Nurses are professionals, not shop floor workers with no power or interest or voice. They are at the forefront of delivery and if a satisfactory service either can’t be delivered with the assets available, professionals should raise hell.
Sadly, the lesson from Staffs seems to be that too many of these so-called professionals are not as able as they should be. Worthy degrees, endless pieces of paper but not a shred of humanity or compassion. In any business/organisation, management’s role is to obtain the maximum return for the minimum input. Absence of money and resources does not excuse the mistreatment, incompetence and downright inhumanity that has led to the situation at Staffs. The faults here are human failings by so-called caring professionals and that is what they will answer for.
I retain the view that, based upon the cases that have reached the media, many have failed in their duties and must be made to answer. That does not excuse those in senior or political positions nor protect them from criticism but they were not the parties responsible for deaths through neglect and, as a general observation, far too many working in the public services give low quality returns with no personal risk nor impact upon their careers. It is time it stopped and if it requires the application of laws with serious repercussions, so be it.
If this unhappy situation leads to the BMA and Royal College of Nursing reconsidering the position of their members and the duties of those members to those who actually employ them re-focussing on the provision of patient care first and last, then perhaps the lives lost might not have been in vain.
Alexsandr
There must be a D notice in operation.
This story has been removed from the daily mail I have just bought , completely .
There is no mention of the case at all.
Same with the telegraph , nothing at all. It never happened.
Over the years you sense news management if your a bit suspicious , but this is so blatant any one can see what’s going on.
There’s a piece on the Telegraph here…
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/terrorism-in-the-uk/10110100/Judge-attacks-tide-of-online-extremism-as-he-jails-terror-group.html
and a ridiculous piece by Dan Hodges…
http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/danhodges/100221217/tommy-robinson-islamism-and-the-edl-when-should-we-listen-to-extremists/
Take David Cameron’s recent appointment of Daniel Korski as his new special adviser.
“Daniel who?” you ask. Few folk outside the SW1 bubble will have heard of the charming Mr Korski. But his elevation to Number 10 tells us more about the Prime Minister’s own outlook than any speech.
Highly talented, and extremely capable, Daniel is …. how can one put this delicately? …. not really where the rest of the Tory party – or indeed the country – is on matters European. In an era of political insurgency, I suspect that his advice may be pretty establishment.
http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/douglascarswellmp/100220983/inside-number-10-the-euro-establishment-still-holds-sway/
So the result of the court case was on Monday , and you would expect expect the papers to cover the story the next day.
From alexandrs comment it looks like they did In the first editions, and then the story was pulled.
Today unusually I could not get the mail or telegraph till after midday.
Both these papers were clean, as the police sometimes say about a perverts computer when he knew they were coming
I suspect because of the (sensible) length of these sentences there was a bit of unrest by the brothers somewhere.
No doubt a death threat to the judge because his word is less than the word of there Allah .
The problem with this court case and verdict is it doesn’t fit in nicely with the mantra of the religion of peace or the Muslim as victim.
Whatever , to remove this story from the papers is a disgrace.
But we do know what your up to.!!!

Not forgetting Mr K’s drivel that used to get an airing in the $pec which was, without exception, panned. His auto-pilot cliched ‘analysis’ was of a type much loved and seen at mid-ranking levels in our beloved FO. He is part of the nomenklatura seamlessly drifting about Govt, NGO’s and the UN family at public expense knowing everything but understanding nothing, and all at the public’s expense. He churns out nothing more than exquisitely crafted toilet paper, or more precisely, would-be toilet paper which has excellent practical applications if only once unlike Mr K and his ilk.

Having listened to that clip I am not surprised to find that cretins like the Guardian, Maguire of the Mirror and McShane are deliberately telling us that black is white and that our ears are deceiving us. That interview was not an easy ride and Robinson was not given the soft soap treatment.
They are sh!t scared that a piece of articulate working class dissent got an airing.
Robinson calmly stood his ground, made some good points (for e,g about the ‘EDL’ graffitti at Muswell Hill) and succeeded in avoiding or neutering the traditional few minutes of well modulated BBC abuse

I listened to that “Tommy Robinson” interview and I thought that he acquitted himself very well against the slippery professional “Beeboid”. No accusation went unchallenged. He turned in a very similar performance against the grand inquisitor himself, BBC2 Newsnight’s Jeremy Paxman. For an amateur to put a performance like that against the Beeboid heavyweight is a very rare occurrence and, then if he wasn’t before, “Robinson” was a marked man from that point onwards. After the recent interview I’d be surprised if the BBC ever let him near a microphone again. He doesn’t fit their narrative.

A brilliantly graphic demonstration – and, interpreted in a slightly different way, why Camorons gestures (with UK tax £’ss) to spray Foreign Aid around the planet is pointless and (just one reason) why every member who served in the last Labour governments (as well as those that remained silent) deserve to be hanging from lamp-posts for their misplaced gesture to help the third world by flooding the UK with immigrants.

The “Gumball Guy’s” videos cannot be repeated often enough.
In the UK over 25% of live births are to mothers who weren’t even born in the UK. In London and other areas that figure is over 66%. The UK’s demographic fate cannot be reversed. The England that we grew up in will soon cease to exist. Politicians of all parties, but particularly New Labour, are responsible for this. The problem is that once they start manipulating what you can see you have no idea what there up to.
About 25 or so years ago we had riots going on and it was spreading across the country. Then just like that it stopped.
Not a single report of anything happening anywhere.
I said then that there was a D notice on and it was not being reported.
People more trusting than me said nonsense .
But 6 months on there was a small article buried deep inside the independent which said (page 26 If I remember correctly) that the government had decided that the rioting was copycat and had put a D notice on it.
When it was not reported it died down.
They may well have been right. But it was the first time I had ever seen this admitted in print.
I might add I bought all the other papers that day.
Not a word about it in any of them.
But,it could be claimed it was now in the public arena.

New English Review has been on “off-air” for nearly a week now – does anyone have any further news of them?
I’ve seen several sites off line at the moment. I think some people have been targetted for Denial Of Service attacks and are relocating to more resilient hosts.
I’ll add the Gatestone Institute to the blogroll Frank. But it will be tomorrow as I am in the bath.

For God’s sake don’t get out of the bath to do it; have the benghazi swept and debugged first in case PRISM has got a mini-eye trained on you 24/7. A photo of you sitting n the bidet, blogrolling the Gatestone outfit, with your laptop only partially covering your blushes would be the kiss of death for The Wall.

The news of Cameron’s appointment of Daniel Korski as one of his special advisers generated a number of emotions. All of them negative, I’m afraid.
Dan’s updated Wiki bio, although thankfully brief, gives me the troubling impression that the bloke has never stayed in a job for more than five minutes. My favourite bit is “He deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan, in 2005 to advise President Hamid Karzai’s government” One can just imagine Jack Straw sat at his FO desk in 2005, “By jingo! These wallahs Kabul are thinking for themselves, better deploy Korski!”
Dan, europhile and arab spring enthusiast, was regularly excoriated in the comments section of his blog posts at the Speccie. The general consensus was along the lines of: ‘how can one man be so wrong so often?’ So much so, it led to the formulation of “Vulture’s Law.”
Why does Dave shell out taxpayers’ cash on Korski when if he wants advice on the ME then there is no better person that he could ask than Rory Stewart, MP? Nope, Dave must have employed Korski for his europhile credentials.
All the talk of “renegotiation” by Cast Iron Dave and “red cards” by Concrete Willy (of Arabia) is just so much smoke being blown up the arses of Tory MPs.(*) If they don’t want to suffer DBU (Death by UKIP) then they would do well to be rid of Dave asap.

How hard is the problem to solve?
Medical examination for all females born in the UK and all entering the UK over the age of 1. Thereafter, simple exam at yearly intervals – knickers down, naughty bits present, off you go!
Interfered-with naughty bits? – immediate seizure by the dreaded SS, entire extended family returned to Country of Origin, assaulted individual undergoes reconstructive surgery before adoption. All medical costs charged to host Country – don’t pay, ban all imports of whatever (worthless) goods they produce and tighten visa restrictions for that State (particularly focused upon ruling class and their wives visiting Harrods).
Too harsh? Even as a man, it makes my eyes water just to think about it.

Radford NG (14 June 02.11) –
This has a strong whiff of something very sinister. What is going to happen when – as seems inevitable – there is increasing civil disorder, of the sort that pits Muslims against indigenous English people?
What will happen if the Cameron government, using the reason that the rioters include members of the EDL and that it is necessary to protect Muslims, orders the army to fire on indigenous English people?
Will all components of the army – especially ordinary soldiers – fire on their own people? I very much doubt it.
There are obvious differences between the situation in Britain and the present situation in Turkey, but the situations and attitudes of Erdogan and Cameron (as well as Clegg and Milliband) are remarkably similar. All, despite widespread opposition, are narrow-mindedly determined to impose their ideologies (Islam in Erdogan’s case, and unpatriotic Political Correctness in the cases of Cameron, Clegg and Milliband) and all have compliant police forces at their disposal.
But I suspect that if either Erdogan or Cameron finds that police actions are not enough and orders the armed forces to support him by firing on those who oppose him, he will find that his orders are not obeyed. Indeed, he may discover that he has provoked the opposite effect.

Why would Harman want to destroy (or even harm) that left-wing, Labour supporting body?
Could it be that someone in the BBC knows something about her early years with the Brent Law Centre and the National council for Civil Liberties, both great supporters of the Pedophile Information Exchange, that she would rather didn’t become common knowledge? Could Yewtree be about to claim it’s first political scalp?
Clear Memories@June 14th, 2013 – 11:12
Harman is a hypocrite on this. She supported a group who thought girls as young as 8 were able to give consent to sex, but clearly thought that older women were not able to make an informed decision to become prostitutes.
Methinks she has the argument the wrong way round. We should protect children (Even more because of the Pakistani child grooming gangs) because they don’t have the maturity to make an informed decision, but let adult women decide what to do with their own bodies (With safeguards to protect coerced women).

Btw I suffer from mal-de-mer everyday just watching our current ‘government’ performing for he TV cameras – translated as see-sickness (sic). 🙂
O(o) – 09:59 ’caused by Tory misrule’
What a thought!
The problem, I fear, is much more complicated that that.
The Met Office think that the Global Warming, caused, as you say, by Tory misrule, is normal, and it is this lull in temperature rise, caused, no doubt, by Prudence, is just NOT normal, especially as the CO2 concentrations have gone up relentlessly over that period.
Government money is urgently needed to find out why the Green Agenda has failed in its first objective of reducing atmospheric CO2 concentrations but allowed global temperatures to remain the same, even though Government pronouncements, with associated Acts of Parliament, and the BBC, purveyors of Truth, have deemed that it would rise until we were fried.
The Science is obviously not settled and that is why the Met Office are having a summit about it:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/topics/weather/10120055/Met-Office-to-hold-summit-on-unusual-UK-weather.html
How dare the temperatures stop rising when Britain has hardly started de-industrialising!
Are the politics of left vs right being replaced by young vs old?
We older people are a bad lot! As people age they generally become naturally more conservative, sensible, and more suspicious and questioning of those who would rule us. Despite the best efforts of recent arrivals to our shores, the Blair generation, in the short to medium term the UK will have an increasingly ageing population.
The ageing population is a tad inconvenient to those forty somethings in the Lab/Lib/Con permanent political class because, if sufficiently provoked, older people might choose to flex their muscles at the ballot box and vote the buggers out. Thus older people now represent a clear and present danger to these venal, malign trougho-crats. Conservatives (aka older people) must be silenced, vilified, nullified at all costs by any means possible. The MSM are complicit.
Hence conservatives are now labeled ‘far right’,climate change deniers, fruitcakes etc. Hence the current orgy of guilt by accusation, and show trials of old men who may or may not have committed crimes thirty, forty or fifty years years ago. THEN on the the news last night I accidentally (I usually turn it off!) witnessed an item from a glib young “news” “reporter” about how pensioners were living up at the expense of the younger generation. i.e. Older people are responsible for the plight of the younger generation etc. and “something must be done” to divert money from their over generous pensions and benefits.
Any thoughts?
Ostrich (occasionally) – 09:55 – Hemlock?’
wiki: After drinking the poison, he, [Socrates], was instructed to walk around until his legs felt numb. After he lay down, the man who administered the poison pinched his foot; Socrates could no longer feel his legs. The numbness slowly crept up his body until it reached his heart. Shortly before his death, Socrates speaks his last words to Crito: “Crito, we owe a rooster to Asclepius. Please, don’t forget to pay the debt.”
On reflection, I think “No!”, because the present day poison starts at the other end of the body.

He naturally includes his distaste of the EDL, though he doesn’t give examples either of the EDL’s behaviour or tenets which caused this visceral reaction.
The DT naturally has closed comments, but in a passing nod to free speech has at least left 128 comments there for us read, and notice the recommendations in their hundreds!
I have sent a question to Charles Moore asking why he takes such a view of the EDL.
I was unable to post this response to Charles Moore before the DT closed comments:
The really terrible thing about all this is that the longer Cameron and the rest of our political class, aided and abetted by the media, pursue their policy of appeasing those who wish to destroy our way of life, the greater the likelihood of the worst bloodshed this country has seen for nearly four hundred years. The vast majority of the British, whatever their origins, do not share the supine defeatism of the authorities and their collaborators in the media. For all its manifest faults this is our country and we will no more see it bought under the sway of an alien and totalitarian ideology than were our fathers in the last century. War is not yet inevitable, there is still time but it is running out. If we have to fight to save our country we will and the outcome is certain.

John Tommy Robinson is certainly not a screwball neither is he a Fascist or a Nazi as your post suggests.
You oblique comparison with and likening him to Oswald Moseley is truly silly, I apologise that what follows is a cut and paste from Wikipedia.
Sir Oswald Ernald Mosley, 6th Baronet (16 November 1896 – 3 December 1980) was an English politician, known principally as the founder of the British Union of Fascists. He was a Member of Parliament for Harrow from 1918 to 1924, for Smethwick from 1926 to 1931 and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster in the Labour Government of 1929–1931, a position he resigned due to his disagreement with the Labour Government’s unemployment policies. He then formed the New Party which merged with the British Union of Fascists (which included the Blackshirts) in 1932. Although relatively well funded, Mosley often overemphasized intellectual fine points that appealed to few voters, opposed free trade and associated closely with Nazi Germany.
Well both Robinson and Moseley were socialists then.

True cost of Britain’s wind farm industry revealed
Every job in Britain’s wind farm industry is effectively subsidised to the extent of £100,000 per year, The Telegraph can disclose.
“A new analysis of government and industry figures shows that wind turbine owners received £1.2 billion in the form of a consumer subsidy, paid by a supplement on electricity bills last year. They employed 12,000 people, to produce an effective £100,000 subsidy on each job.”

Peter, if you get any reply from Charles Moore, please let us know. By taking the “on the one hand we have murdering sociopathic Islamists wishing to impose an alien totalitarianism on us” and “on the other hand we have native born Englishmen who want to retain their freedom and their country” stance, Moore caves in to the deceitful Lefty concepts of equivalence and relativism which don’t bear examination by morality or logic.
In an existential conflict, his Etonian equivocation is not acceptable and now that the lid of the truth about immigration is finally off, political success for his chums will depend upon choosing the right side of the fence on which to stand.

Meanwhile, the look alike for the “Honorable General” heading the NSA, General Martin Dempsey, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, advises that the Special Forces who did not rescue the Americans at Benghazi did not fail to do so because they were told to stand down – but rather because they were never told to stand to in the first place! ““They weren’t told to stand down. It’s theft, pure and simple.
Cui bono? Certainly not the environment, wildlife or the taxpayer. As many have elaborated both here and at the other place it is primarily an economic scam imposed on us by lobby bitch politicians of the Lab/Lib/Con cabal. It’s one of a number of measures being imposed in order to transfer of wealth from the public into private hands.
Can anyone please help me; in an email to a long time friend (a retired science master) whilst discussing so called global warming/climate change I used the phrase:-
“I am still highly sceptical, for me there are far too many with a vested interest and the fact that the BBC are restricting most arguments against does not fill me with any confidence.
His reply surprised me in that he replied:-
“but what’s that about the BBC restricting the argument? I haven’t heard anything about that.”
I am sure that there are various links that show and prove that the BBC are taking the line that the arguments ‘for’ are now complete and that they have no need to mention any alternate arguments.
Can anyone provide me with links to send on to him to prove this BBC prejudice?

Concise and spot-on! Your last sentence should be illuminated and placed in the anals of Downing Street.
Tommy Robinson steamrollers Wark and then Paxman so Andrew Neill says ‘get him on the Sunday Politics show – I’ll sort him out.’ And whaddaya know, A.N. gets steamrollered as well. What a hoot!

Yes immensely, thank you very much.
Had to hurry off to watch TV.Tommy Robinson given hard time by Andrew NEIL.Much easier time given to Farooq Murad of Islamic Council of G.B.[What is known about him? There are too many to keep up with.] `Sunday Politics` is repeated on i player.
I hear that the machete-in-the- mosque attack wasn’t a “hate crime”.
So is it love alone that motivates a man to hack his fellow worshippers?
Frank Sutton@June 16th, 2013 – 13:06
Beeb were reporting early this morning that the man was ‘of Somali appearance’, but could not confirm that. Seems this came from social media.
Returning to DEWSBURY.In a separate item a bus was attacked in Savile Town, for the second night, and and a man injured.Should be found at http://www.thepressnews.co.uk/NewsDetails.asp?id=3630#.

Buses are all fitted with CCTV inside and out these days. Are plod investigating and seeking to make arrests?
Will Arriva still operate their buses through Saville town? Bet they wont any more.
Alexsandr, June 16th, 2013 – 13:09: It must be a great comfort to the injured mosque goers that their attacker was not a kaffir, and therefore no hate was involved.
Malfleur at 13-46: On `twitter`can be seen the violent–and often obscene–threats made, nearly everyday,to Tommy Robinson and his wife and daughter./…./All the rest is silence as I’ve reached the limit of free down-loads this month at the Telegraph.

At the end of the article about young mu$lim$ ongoing ethnic cleansing of Dewsbury there is the following..
‘Anyone with information should contact PC Shanaz Ahmed’
There’s a risk not worth taking.
Have you seent he arguments on

I dont believe these people are discussing which side we should arm. They are all dangerous. And once we have put arms into syria who knows where they will end up next? Will they hand them back the Hague at the end of the conflict?
We should leave well alone in the middle east.
Alexsandr, we know that there are hundreds of British Muslims in Syria with the Islamic terrorists. They will all be coming home some time, with experience in killing and well armed by the British Government.

Re BBC Man Made AGW.
Delingpole had links to a secret meeting held a few years back where the decision was made to ‘no longer treat the theory as theoretical’ but instead to treat the theory as ‘fact’. This is part would be why the BBC ‘sat on’ the ‘climate gate’ e-mails.
PS the BBC also invested their pension scheme in ‘re newable energy’ hence the journalists all have a direct personal financial interest in Govn. subsidy for this ‘industry’.
If you cannot find the info on Delingpole’s DT blog, tell me & I’ll go a-searching.
Peter 21.39.
With a bit of luck they won’t be coming home.!!!
John. I’m afraid they will be. Will we be ready?
I like this quote from http://www.aina.org/news/20130614155149.htm
‘To put it bluntly, you could count all the Muslim winners of Nobel Prizes in science on one hand and have enough fingers left to crochet’
Two smashing colour photographs of the countryside around somewhere in Yorkshire called Muker in Swaledale, along with some of wild flowers, illustrate an article in the House & Home section of the Weekend FT on the loss of the meadow in England along with the decline in haymaking. They triggered my own childhood memory of running through an Essex meadow full of wildflowers and stirring up zig-zagging butterflies and leaping grasshoppers. What a paradise it looks from those two photographs, caught perhaps on the only sunny day of summer.
I picked up a copy of the Spectator in Hong Kong airport on Saturday. There’s a fine review of a book by John Grimond of “This Boy”, a book on his own childhood in the 1950s by Alan Johnson, though mainly in praise of his mother and sister. Not many butterflies for him – but two fine women remembered.
Abu Hamza was finally deported after running up a huge bill for himself and his family. Now we await the departure of another ‘holy’ man, Abu Qatada. Three Syrians threatened the safety of an Egyptian plane in the air, and are now seeking sanctuary here in this green and pleasant land. Their arrival has been given minimum publicity, and probably the Bleeding Hearts will ignore the fact that these barbarians were ready to blow up a plane, and will receive them with open arms. Don’t even know if they are so holy, as it has been mentioned by Putin that cannabalism takes place amongst the rebels. Question: Is the meat killed by the Hallal method?
AWK1, there are some pretty horrible videos showing some Muslim terrorists eating the flesh of those they have killed. It’s all too real.
Peter, that’s why I’ve almost given up writing. I read everybody’s postings, but I am too sickened to write. I can’t be bothered to preach to the converted, the time for jaw-jaw-jaw has past, and it appears that Britain is prepared to roll over and surrender to the muslims. It’s a nightmare from which it seems there is no awakening.
Malfleur@June 17th, 2013 – 08:23
Swaledale is lovely. Walk from Muker to Keld and back through the meadows. Its a secret bit of Swaledale with no road. You can vary it by taking the path on the other sode of the river for the return journey. There are a couple of buses a day if the return walk is too much.
Nice cafe in Keld, where you can sit in the garden, and back in Muker there is the Farmers Arms, a splendid pub.

Swaledale is lovely.
This brings back a fond memory, I have never as a child or as an adult played truant but just the once.
Our youngest who was forty this year was about six, the day was glorious and so I cancelled that day’s work, kept Sarah out of school and headed with my wife and daughter of towards the North and Swaledale.
It was when we had left all of the main roads and I was driving down a hillside country lane with high stone walls at each side that on turning a corner I had to swerve sharply and drive up what little bit of verge there was to allow a fully grown bull to pass, he was charging up the hill towards us with a large piece of rawhide tied to his face, in effect a blind-fold.
As we continued a loan farmer and dog came chasing after the bull, at the bottom was the farmers wife, we stopped to ask what was going on, the story was that the ‘bull’ was a jumper of walls, the vet had suggested the blind-fold to discourage this practice but on this first trial the bull had walked up to the wall butted it walked backwards and then run at and cleared the wall to freedom.
All of the Dales are pretty, however Swaledale is particularly so.
